Invitation to Bid – Advertisement


Sealed bids for “WINDSOR RESIDENTIAL TRANSFER STATION: TRUCK SCALE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT” will be received until 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Finance Office, Town Hall, 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT.  Contract documents and bid forms can be obtained from the Town of Windsor Engineering Office at the same location for a non-refundable fee of $10.00. 


WINDSOR RESIDENTIAL TRANSFER STATION: TRUCK SCALE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT consists of the removal of the existing vehicle scale at the Windsor Residential Transfer Station, furnishing and installing a new steel deck vehicle scale with a 50 ton capacity, and provide a temporary scale to be used at the Transfer Station throughout the duration of the project.    


The Town of Windsor reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder.
